“I am a people first kind of a guy. I want to know who my clients are, and I want them to know who I am because the better we know one another, the better I am at delivering a high level of legal representation. I almost always use identifiers like “us” and “we” when discussing legal matters with clients because we’re on the same team, we just have different roles.”
Brian Boice is dedicated to building lasting relationships with his clients; and the best way to do that is by providing candid legal advice, by aggressively protecting his clients’ legal rights, and through a genuine concern for his clients. As Washington State counsel for Lanak & Hanna, Brian has recovered millions of dollars for Lanak & Hanna’s clients, and, in doing so, has had the opportunity to help establish a much needed clarification in Washington State’s mechanic’s lien law when the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division 2, unanimously overturned a trial court’s erroneous decision against his client.
Brian provides comprehensive legal representation to construction industry clients, including contractors, material suppliers, and design professionals; he also enforces contracts for goods and services for business clients. In 2013, Brian earned the “Crown In Town” award from Business Insider as the best lawyer in Federal Way, Washington. In 2016, Brian was recognized as a Rising Star in Construction Law by Super Lawyers. Brian is also a former Trustee for the Tacoma-Pierce County Bar Association.
