“Messy and difficult problems do not intimidate me – I’m in it for the long haul and welcome the opportunity to roll my sleeves up to get the job done. I don’t approach every case in a cookie-cutter way and often untangle complicated matters with unorthodox and creative solutions in order to get what needs to happen done.”
Jennifer Schildbach has a proven track record of delivering outstanding results in trials, arbitrations and appeals, starting with a $1.3 million dollar win for her client in her first jury trial as First Chair. Other accomplishments under her belt include successfully appealing and arguing a contractor’s case to the California Court of Appeal, resulting in an unqualified reversal for her client on every issue, plus an award of all attorney’s fees and costs.
Jennifer represents both plaintiffs and defendants in all areas of construction, surety, commercial litigation and prevailing wage law in state and federal courts, and before state agencies such as the Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. Her clients include material suppliers, equipment rental and equipment repair companies, general contractors, subcontractors, owners, sureties, lenders and commercial enterprises of all sizes.
She has lectured for the National Business Institute on the subject of mechanics’ liens, and regularly mentors the firm’s associates. During law school, Jennifer served as a full-time judicial extern to the highly regarded late David G. Sills, Presiding Justice of the California Court of Appeal, Fourth District, Division Three.
Jennifer is an avid college football and basketball fan and her favorite team is, of course, the University of Louisville Cardinals.
