Christopher Wilson is currently focusing his practice on disputes and transactions involving construction law, employment law, insurance coverage, surety issues, contractor licensing issues, solar power plant construction issues, arbitration, and mediation.
Christopher has a law degree from the University of Virginia Law School and a Magna Cum Laude undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University. Prior to joining Lanak & Hanna, Christopher worked 9 years at a major US law firm, currently 10th largest in the US, as well as multiple years as principal of his own law firm. Before engaging in the private practice of law, he spent four years as an attorney and Captain in the US Army JAG Corps, serving as a prosecutor, defense counsel, and federal magistrate, at various times, in Europe as well as Northern California.
Christopher was also a founding Board Member of the ADR Section of the LA County Bar Association. He has written published articles for the LA Lawyer and California Lawyer concerning use of mock juries and recovery of emotional distress damages in economic loss cases. He has also written published articles for the LA Daily Journal and the LA County Bar Litigation Section about giving depositions and mediation procedures. His research and writing activities have included publishing quarterly reports for the LA County Bar ADR Section about current ADR and Arbitration Developments.
