Lanak & Hanna’s supplier client recorded mechanics liens and stop payment notices against two projects when their customer stopped paying and stopped responding to calls and messages. Michael Murray made demands on the owner and general contractor to pay or risk foreclosure lawsuits. After general contractor disputed material was actually delivered to the project, Lanak & Hanna and the client undertook an exhaustive review and analysis of the project, submittals and plans to prove each sold item was not only for the project, but incorporated into the completed project. The general contractor was forced to settle and pay the client in full for all material provided to the project.
