Michael Murray succeeded in a full recovery on behalf of our subcontract client. Lanak & Hanna filed a lawsuit for a subcontractor client against the general contractor for failing to pay for work the subcontractor had performed and to foreclose on a mechanics lien recorded against the project. Lanak & Hanna’s claim prevailed and obtained a judgment for not only the full balance owed by the contractor but also to foreclose on the mechanics lien, sell the project and recover what it is owed. Prior to selling the project, Lanak & Hanna was able to locate a bank account in the contractors name and levy the full amount of the judgment, including all interest and attorney fees incurred by the client.
