Michael Murray and Sunny Lee successfully obtained a full recovery on behalf of a supplier client in a payment dispute involving a general contractor and its surety. Shortly after filing a lawsuit against the general contractor for nonpayment and asserting a $500,000 public works bond claim against the surety, Lanak & Hanna secured a lump-sum settlement payment from the surety providing for 100% recovery of the bond claim and money owed by the general contractor, all attorneys’ fees incurred, and a substantial portion of accrued interest on the bond claim.
