Attorney Michael Murray recovered payment for a contractor who had installed solar systems at two golf courses. After the general contractor absconded with the payments that were owed to Lanak & Hanna’s client, Mr. Murray filed multiple lawsuits against both the general contractor and to foreclose on the mechanics liens recorded against the privately owned golf courses. After multiple years of litigation that involved baseless claims of defective work by the golf courses against Lanak & Hanna’s client, the client was vindicated when on the eve of trial the golf courses agreed to pay and dropped all claims of defective work.
